Business Support

The West Midlands Growth Hubs comprises six of the 38 local Growth Hubs across England. Growth Hubs are government supported, local public/private sector partnerships, led by the Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), to join up national and local business support so it is easy for businesses to find the help they need.

Your local Growth Hub supports SMEs with a wide range of services including:

  • access to local and national business support programmes and initiatives
  • access to finance and funding
  • growth planning advice
  • employment and skills
  • premises and planning
  • access to supply chain and procurement opportunities
  • advice for start-up businesses
  • B2B events and networking

West Midlands Business Support Review

The West Midlands Business Support Review was commissioned by the three West Midlands Combined Authority area's Local Enterprise Partnerships, through the Strategic Economic Development Board, and with the Recovery Forum. The aim of the review was to design a fit-for-purpose business support system for a post-pandemic, zero-carbon, technically-enabled world. The final report was published in August 2021. View report
