Peer Networks is a national peer-to-peer networking programme for SME leaders that want to grow and develop their organisation for future success.
The Peer Networks Programme is funded by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and delivered through the LEP Growth Hubs and partners.
Through interactive learning, the Peer Networks programme brings together diverse groups of individuals to collaboratively work through common business issues, and enable participants to discuss their own challenges, implement practical solutions to overcome them, and gain and reflect on valuable feedback.
Peer Networks is delivered to small mixed, or sector specific cohorts, through a series of virtual high impact group sessions, with trained facilitators.
Why Get Involved?
Businesses that seek external advice or undertake formal training are more likely to improve their overall performance, but many prefer to take advice from trusted sources, such as their peers, when presented with external challenges and opportunities. Peer Networks enables you to make connections that go far beyond networking.
The Peer Networks programme will help you overcome business challenges and recognise and act on new opportunities, build a trusted network of connections to support you now and in the future, and improve your long-term personal and business performance.
Peer Networks helped me take time out from the day-to-day running of our business and focus on my leadership skills and capabilities. My peer group had a good mix of knowledge and experience from a variety of sectors which became a trusted source of advice.
Paul Griffiths - Aspire Sports, Birmingham
Peer Networks has helped us have a more objective perspective on our business. Listening to the other participants we were struck by the commonality of the challenges facing different SMEs. The unexpected bonus for me was the support I felt from the group.
Colette King - Platform Three Wine Bar, Solihull
I would certainly recommend the whole process. It has been beneficial and given me a new outlook on things, not only what my immediate focuses should be.
