The Peer Networks Programme is funded by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) in response to a commitment made in the 2019 Business Productivity Review and delivered locally by the CWLEP Growth Hub with local partners.
Through interactive action learning, we create diverse cohort groups of individuals to collaboratively work through common business issues, and enable participants to discuss their own challenges, gain and reflect on valuable feedback and implement practical solutions to overcome them.
From finance and HR to sales, marketing and more, our expert facilitators give business leaders the flexibility to create a trusted support network that works for them, helping them to build and strengthen their business and improve its overall performance.
Peer Networks is delivered through a series of virtual high impact group sessions, with a trained facilitator.
The programme runs from April 2021 to March 2022 and includes:
- Interactive action learning
- Trained facilitators
- Small cohorts
- Flexible topic selection
- One-to-one support
Businesses that seek external advice or undertake formal training are more likely to improve their overall performance, but many prefer to take advice from trusted sources, such as their peers, when presented with external challenges and opportunities.
Peer Networks enables you to make connections that go far beyond networking.
By completing Peer Networks, you will:
- Overcome business challenges and recognise and act on new opportunities
- Build a trusted network of connections to support you now and in the future
- Improve your long-term personal and business performance
Who is it for?
Peer Networks is designed for business leaders who want to grow and develop their organisation for future success.
If your business is in any of the sectors below and you're dedicated to growing your business and making valuable connections, this programme is for you:
- Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering

The Peer Networks programme is funded through BEIS and delivered by the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CWLEP) Growth Hub.
Seven local businesses have been appointed by CWLEP Growth Hub to deliver cohorts, which are aimed to help businesses overcome coronavirus, improve resilience and achieve future success. They will include interactive action learning in small groups with flexible topic selection. The high-impact group sessions, which will be delivered virtually, will typically meet fortnightly as part of delivering 18 hours of action learning through two-hour sessions online. Individual one-to-one support will also be provided as part of the programmes.
The sessions are open to any SME which has at least five employees, has operated for at least one year, a turnover of at least £100,000 and has an aspiration to improve.
If you would like to be part of a peer group, please contact an expert facilitator below, or for more information about the programme email CWLEP Growth Hub at: firstname.lastname@example.org

The Peer Communities Forum is the place to get your questions answered by your cohort colleagues, facilitators, business advisors and industry experts.
It is open to all businesses involved with the Peer Networks programme, as a resource to help you network with the other participants, share your knowledge and experiences, and work through ideas and challenges with the wider Peer Network Community.
Please read the Forum Rules before you get started. Please be aware that content is moderated during office hours Monday to Friday. Content posted outside of these hours will be moderated on the next working day.

Exclusive Keynote Speaker Announcements
Known to many as one of the shrewdest investors ever to have appeared on the BBC programme Dragons' Den, world-class businessman, investor and keynote speaker Piers Linney is set to speak at this exclusive event on 29 June.
Originally from Stoke-on-Trent, Piers is a successful entrepreneur with an impressive business portfolio and will offer a unique insight into the topics discussed based on his own experience.
Camilla was just 22 when she appeared on 2018’s 'The Apprentice', narrowly missing out in the final.
Her dairy free drinks brand MYLKPLUS caught the eye of the CEO of Holland & Barrett and she went ahead to launch the grab and go dairy alternative into 645 of their stores, where it continues to sell out and remains in the top UK 10 best-selling drinks on Amazon.
Passionate about business growth, Camilla will share her true grit stories of starting a business and how building a trusted network can help boost your business growth.
We are busy recruiting for the second Peer Networks scheme with cohorts of business people, working and learning together with an experienced group leader, to tackle the common issues that they face. Here are some testimonials from the first scheme:
